Dominik Kus @ Profile Area Talent Talks 2023

In May, COMSYS student Dominik Kus had the opportunity to present the results of his master's thesis (advised by Jan Pennekamp, Eric Wagner & Konrad Wolsing) at the "Profile Area Talent Talks 2023" at the Collective Incubator in Aachen.

Following a welcome address by RWTH Rector Prof. Rüdiger, Dominik presented his work on Detecting Network Attacks Against Industrial Systems. His thesis project was supported by a Speed Fund of the ICT Profile Area of RWTH, supported by the Hans Hermann Voss Foundation. Thanks to this funding, Dominik was able to present a poster on Ensemble Learning for Industrial Intrusion Detection at ACSAC 2022.

The Profile Area Talent Talks were established as a forum for talented graduates and their work results and make them visible to a wider audience within and beyond RWTH Aachen University.
