Overview

Since September 2025, I am a researcher at the Chair of Communication and Distributed Systems. Before, I graduated with an M.Sc. in Computer Science at RWTH Aachen University. As a member of the Network Architectures Group, my research interests revolve around transport protocols, congestion control, and network performance.

Currently, I am exploring QUIC and its evolution, as well as emerging congestion control mechanisms like L4S (Low Latency, Low Loss, Scalable Throughput). I’m also interested in SCONE, a novel approach to in-band bandwidth signaling, and its potential to enable more responsive and efficient network communication. My work in this context often involves protocol analysis, testbed experimentation, and performance evaluation.

In addition, I am looking into energy- and carbon-aware networking. I investigate how routing decisions and protocol designs can reduce energy consumption and contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally conscious network architecture.
