COMSYS @ SAFEr Grid Retreat in Skagen, Denmark

From September 28th to October 2nd, the COMSYS SAFEr Grid team joined the research retreat in Skagen, Denmark to discuss and advance our progress on the project.

Hosted at Klitgaarden Refugium, a former holiday home for the King of Denmark, the week brought together researchers from Aalborg University and RWTH institutes ACS, TIM and COMSYS for a packed programme of presentations and discussions. The sessions were complemented by guest talks from regulatory, industry and academic speakers, including contributions from the European Commission’s DG Energy, Energy Net and Professor Deepak Divan.

Beyond the scientific programme, the retreat offered a chance to connect in a beautiful setting. The research team explored the local area with a walk along the famous sand mile, and a trip to Grenen, the northernmost tip of Denmark where the North Sea and Baltic Sea meet.
