Farewell Kai!
May 29 marked our colleague Kai’s last working day before his well‑earned retirement. We celebrated his time at COMSYS in style!
After more than 40 years as technical staff and researcher on ICT standards and standardisation at COMSYS, Kai Jakobs retires (at least officially). We celebrated our valued colleague with Kai-themed decoration, catering and by jointly dressing in his signature outfit: checkered shirts.
Besides his numerous academic and non-academic contributions to the chair, we will miss Kai’s (highly vegan) lentil stew, his friendly reminders to correctly (un)load the dishwasher and the humor he brought to the everyday life at COMSYS.
