COMSYS @ PowerTech 2025 conference

In the first week of July, COMSYS researchers Arthur Fibich and Leonardo Pompe attended PowerTech 2025 in Kiel.
This year’s conference focused on power system stability in light of the growing integration of inverter-based generators, such as solar PV, into the grid. Both researchers, Arthur Fibich and Leonardo Pompe, are involved in the SAFEr Grid project, and the conference provided valuable insights into power system dynamics and communication-based control – knowledge essential for developing future resilient and flexible power grids. The conference also offered an excellent opportunity to network with international experts and initiate discussions on potential joint research in this field.
As a special highlight, the participants enjoyed the spectacular fireworks during Kiel Week, one of the world’s largest sailing events.
