ICT Young Researcher Award for Martin Henze

COMSYS researcher and head of security and privacy Martin Henze was awarded the ICT Young Researcher Award 2017 by the profile area Information & Communication Technology in recognition of his contributions to ICT-related research at RWTH Aachen University. The award includes a prize money of 3000 Euro.

In his research, Martin mainly provides technical means to uncover, overcome, and prevent security and privacy challenges in communication systems. Within his dissertation project, he strives for a comprehensive approach to account for privacy in the cloud computing landscape that incorporates all relevant actors of the cloud computing landscape, i.e., users, service providers, and infrastructure providers. To this end, he equips each of these actors with the necessary technical means to provide privacy both for private and corporate users. COMSYS congratulates Martin to this huge success!
